MISSION STATEMENT

To be widely acknowledged for excellence in the delivery of valued support, advice, opportunities and services to the whole Sussex football community.

To provide, for children a safe, structured, fun learning environment within which to develop, for adults a quality controlled wide range of nationally recognised Football Coach Education courses in the County of Sussex.

Committees

COMPETITIONS

To control and manage all Sussex County FA Cup competitions - including adult, youth and Womens - on behalf of the Council.
The Committee may determine to appoint 2 or more Vice Chairmen, to clearly divide duties between the different classes of competition.
To give decisions on matters arising out of the Competitions which shall be deemed to be the decisions of Council.
Duties shall include accepting entries, making exemptions, making the draws and dealing with breaches of Competition Rules.

COMPETITIONS

DISCIPLINE

To arrange and administer all matters relating to disciplinary procedures.
To develop and administer a training programme to train and support Chairmen of disciplinary commissions.
To arrange a meeting of all commission chairmen early in each season, to discuss and establish guidelines for consistent findings/punishments. To subsequently monitor decisions of commissions for general consistency.

DISCIPLINE

REFEREES

To deal with matters arising under the Regulations for the control of referees.
To arrange for the recruitment, training and examination, classification and promotion or demotion of Referees and assessors.
To arrange for the appointment of Referees to County Cup Competitions
To arrange for the appointment of commissions to deal with alleged misconduct by Referees.
To develop the Mentoring scheme throughout the County.
To monitor the policy with regard to Referees' insurance.

REFEREES

REPRESENTATIVE MATCH

To arrange and administer all matters relating to all levels of Representative football, including adult, youth and womens.
The Committee may determine to appoint 2 or more Vice Chairmen, to clearly divide duties between the different classes of competition.
To appoint managers and match staff in respect of such Representative games.
Individual members to be identified as having specific responsibilities for the respective levels and classes of Competition

REPRESENTATIVE

SANCTIONS

To consider and draft such amendments as may be necessary to the Articles and Memorandum, the Membership Rules, and the Standing Orders of the SCFA.
To consider and approve competitions in accordance with the Regulations for the Sanction and control of Leagues and Competitions, including the approval of sponsorship.
To consider and approve shirt advertising.
To deal with breaches of SCFA Rules by member Clubs, Leagues, Competitions and Associations.
To scrutinise and approve all Rules and Constitutions, and changes thereto, of member Leagues and Associations.
To call for and inspect the books of Account and Financial records of affiliated clubs in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Football Association
